According to the Government Accountability Office, there are currently an estimated 425,000 Brownfield sites throughout the United States. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) defines Brownfield sites as "any real property that's been abandoned, idled or underused where expansion or redevelopment is complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination." Many state agencies offer incentive programs to provide funding for Brownfield renovation. LCG has over 30 years of experience in remediating and redeveloping Brownfield sites and can facilitate the acquisition of grants for funding such activities. Our staffs' unique experience in Brownfield remediation allows us to confidently assist our clients in the identification of candidate sites, the evaluation of redevelopment potential, the development of remedial procedures, and the obtainment of funding. |
