Vapor Intrusion Investigation
Residential Housing Development Location: Lakewood, New Jersey Description: LCG was retained by the YK Group, LLC to complete a Preliminary Assessment and subsurface Vapor Intrusion (VI) Investigation at a potential residential development site in Lakewood, New Jersey. Based upon review of owner supplied documents, LCG identified an existing impacted groundwater plume situated immediately adjacent to the south, with a known extent of groundwater contamination area (CKE) partially encroaching onto the southern portion of the site. LCG conducted a VI Investigation to confirm that volatile chemicals had not migrated into onsite subsurface soils.

Dr. Charles C. Polk Elementary School Location: Roselle, New Jersey Description: LCG was retained by the Roselle Board of Education to provide management and oversight pursuant to an ongoing environmental cleanup of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) associated with a neighboring contaminated site. LCG reviewed and certified previously collected vapor and groundwater sampling analytical results to ensure the Dr. Charles C. Polk Elementary School was not being impacted by a potential vapor intrusion pathway related to the neighboring cleanup site. |
