Lewis Consulting Group (LCG) was retained by private residential clients to conduct lead assessments and inspections for the presence or absence of lead-based paint (LBP) throughout various residential buildings. LCG performed the assessment in accordance with applicable New Jersey Department of Labor (NJDOL) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) inspection and sampling requirements, followed by laboratory analysis using the latest X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology. The inspection was conducted by a New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS)/EPA certified Lead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor.
LCG's scope of work included surface-by-surface XRF sampling of the interior and exterior portions of the site building in conformance with the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Guidelines using an INNOV-X Model I-3000 X-Ray Spectrum Analyzer. The XRF results were compiled in comprehensive report for the client to identify and determine the areas of environmental concern.
