Lewis Consulting Group (LCG) was retained by the public housing authority to conduct indoor air quality assessments and inspections to determine factors which could be contributing to mold/fungi growth in various residential buildings. Using the latest mold inspection technology and following guidelines and techniques generally accepted, LCG's team of industrial hygienists and environmental health professionals performed non-destructive mold screening to assess conditions present in the areas of evaluation. Inspections included the use of Infra-Red cameras, moisture meters, air sampling devices, mold tapes and swabs.

Air samples were analyzed by an American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Accredited Environmental Microbiology Laboratory. Upon completion of the inspection, the data and remediation protocol were incorporated to develop a final report of findings for the site.
